Discussion Panels

In direct exchange with ambassadors, federal Ministers, journalists, Euro-Parliamentarians, EU-Commissioners, prime ministers, scientists and artists, young people are given the chance to experience politics up-close and to take part in the political process.

We wish to inspire and animate others to think about Europe. We wish to inform young people about Europe, initiate discussions and to reduce the distance to decision-makers and experts.

Some of the events at the Schwarzkopf Foundation are parts of lecture series which we conduct in co-operation with long-standing partners. 

For example, a special part of our program is the series "Europe in the 21st century", which we organise in cooperation with the German representation of the European Commission in Berlin. Additionally we offer lectures co-hosted and co-organised with the Dräger foundation.

Over the last few years the lecture format "Historic Speeches on Europe", which sets historic speeches by European personalities in a contemporary political frame by inviting significant politicians to comment, has established itself as one of our most popular series of events.
